Historical background
The British band Sky was founded in 1978 and united musicians from classical, rock, and jazz backgrounds. Guitarist John Williams, drummer Tristan Fry, and their colleagues created "Sky 4: Forthcoming," an album that features both sophisticated classical arrangements and progressive original compositions. This unique combination made Sky one of the most innovative instrumental groups of the early 1980s.
