"Chantilly Lace" is the best-known album by the American rock and roll singer The Big Bopper (real name Jiles Perry Richardson Jr.). The record includes the eponymous worldwide hit "Chantilly Lace ," released in 1958, which quickly established itself as a classic of the rock and roll era. The mix of humorous spoken-word vocals, catchy melody, and youthful energy makes the album a historical document of the late 1950s.

Historical background:
The Big Bopper was born on October 24, 1930, in Sabine Pass, Texas. In addition to his music career, he worked as a radio DJ and songwriter.
