This vintage LP, "Klaus Renft Combo," was released in 1974 on the East German label Amiga and is considered one of the most important releases in GDR rock history. The band, fronted by Klaus Renft, is regarded as a cult act of the GDR music scene, whose critical lyrics and unmistakable rock sound shaped an entire generation.
The album combines rock, blues, and socially critical lyrics, which later led to the band being banned from performing by the East German authorities. With songs like "Chains Are Getting Scarcer" and "Glassware," the record impressively documents the spirit of the 1970s in East Germany.
An authentic collector's item and an important historical document for lovers of GDR rock, prog and blues rock.

Historical background
The Klaus Renft Combo was one of the most important rock bands in East Germany. With their critical lyrics and distinctive rock sound, the group quickly became popular – but also a target of state censorship. In 1975, the band was banned from performing, and their records largely disappeared from official stores. Today, the original Amiga pressings are highly sought-after collector's items and represent a piece of East German music history.
