This double LP of recordings by the legendary Comedian Harmonists presents the timeless classics of the famous vocal ensemble from the 1920s and 1930s. With perfect harmony, wit, and musical sensitivity, the sextet shaped the popular music of their era and is still considered a milestone in German music history. The songs included here reflect the full range of their repertoire – from lively hits to humorous chansons.

Band history:

The Comedian Harmonists were founded in Berlin in 1927, uniting five singers and a pianist. The group quickly rose to international fame, conquering stages across Europe with hits like "Veronika, der Lenz ist da " and "Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus ." Their unique blend of vocal acrobatics, humor, and perfect harmonies made them world-famous. With the rise of the Nazi regime, the group was banned in 1935 due to its Jewish members; nevertheless, their musical legacy lives on to this day and continues to influence generations of artists.
