This AMIGA-licensed edition of Procol Harum 's legendary debut album brings their unique blend of rock, baroque pop, and psychedelic sounds to East German record culture. With their worldwide hit "A Whiter Shade of Pale," the band made a musical statement in 1967 that remains one of the greatest classics in rock history.

Procol Harum , founded in London in 1967 by singer and pianist Gary Brooker , is considered one of the most influential bands of art and progressive rock. Their song "A Whiter Shade of Pale" inspired countless musicians and became a symbol of the late 1960s. The East German licensed release on AMIGA made this Western cult music accessible in the East as well – a highly sought-after collector's item of rare value.
