Klaus Schulze (1947–2022) is considered one of the central figures of the German electronic music scene and a co-founder of the so-called Berlin School . After his time with Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel, Schulze developed his own sonic ideal as a solo artist, blending ambient, classical, and synthetic improvisation. Audentity is seen as a link between his orchestral late-1970s works ( X , Dune ) and his later digital sound experiments.
