Historical background
Frank Zander ( born 1942 in Berlin ) began his career in the late 1960s as guitarist and singer of the band Gloomy Moon Singers . From the 1970s onward, he made a name for himself as a solo artist on Hansa Records. With his mix of rock, pop, and comedy, as well as his raspy voice and offbeat humor, he quickly developed a cult following. "Zander's Anger" documents these early years and already showcases the unmistakable style with which he later landed hits like "Here Comes Kurt."
