This rare 12" maxi-single by Edo Zanki features the track " Afrika (Gestern Nacht war ich in Afrika)" as well as the song "Große Scheine ". Of particular note is the exceptional pressing on turquoise and white marbled vinyl , which makes this release a highly sought-after collector's item. The cover design follows Intercord's classic "Super Sound Single" series and further emphasizes its special collector's value.

Historical background:
Edo Zanki (1952–2019) was a German-Croatian musician, producer, and songwriter, considered one of Germany's most distinctive soul voices. In addition to his solo career, he collaborated with numerous prominent figures in the German music scene, including Herbert Grönemeyer, Udo Lindenberg, and Xavier Naidoo. With "Afrika," released in the early 1980s, he penned a funky, poppy song typical of the era, showcasing his versatility across pop, soul, and rock. Today, his colored vinyl singles enjoy cult status among collectors.
